Does WindyKnits work offline?

Yes — the app works fully offline. The only optional network call is to Anthropic's API when you turn on cloud pattern parsing in Settings, and that requires your own API key.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Your sign-in info, projects, and counters live only on your device. We don't run a server. See the privacy policy for the details.

How does PDF pattern import work?

On iPhones and iPads that support Apple Intelligence, patterns are parsed entirely on-device. On older devices, you can optionally use Anthropic Claude with your own API key.

How do I use the Lock Screen counter?

Open a project, tap Start Live Activity on the counter screen, then lock your phone. You'll see the row count on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with +1 and −1 buttons you can tap without unlocking.

How do I sign out or delete my data?

Sign out from Settings → Sign Out. To remove every project, counter, and stored credential from your device, delete the app. You can also revoke Sign in with Apple from iOS Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → WindyKnits.
